I used to be an Etsy member for a few years and never got the attention that someone should get for their hard work. For example, I only was put on ONE treasury list of theirs and never got the recognition for being a newbie when I first started. So I figured that I needed to find some other website that I could sell my handmade items. After all, they do need to be recognized. That’s when I found The CraftStar.
What caught my eye with the CraftStar was their membership fee, it’s only 5$ and unlimited listings! It was the unlimited listings that caught my eye. On Etsy I’d be paying .20 cents each time I would list an item and after 4 months, you would have to pay the .20 cents for each items that don’t sell. And same thing goes for any items that you RE-LIST. I just couldn’t keep up with it. That’s why I like CraftStar, hassle free, just remember to pay your 5$ each month J
Going back to being acknowledged for hard work. After signing up for The CraftStar, I noticed that ALL of my 20 items were being tweeted from the @thecraftstar twitter page! Unbelievable, my phone was pinging constantly in notification. I admire and appreciate the people who take the time and effort to support us crafters, even one of my items put on their Facebook page. Now, just to let you know, that doesn’t happen all the time. I really haven’t added any more new product since. But I’m sure that when I do, it will get noticed.
